What is Catbird Leather?

Catbird Leather started as a hobby and a basement workbench in 2024. We've since both refined our craft and accrued enough Stuff that is was time to sell it off to make space for more leather projects. Thus: Catbird Leather was born! At its core, though, Catbird Leather is still a passion project, built on a love for leatherwork and making Cool Things.

We specialize in vegetable tanned leather products. All of our goods are hand-tooled, hand-dyed, hand-painted, and hand-stitched. Some larger pieces can easily take upwards of 60 hours to complete, but we think the resulting quality is well worth it.
